Our newest special: the Chick In Cone
What the cluck?! That’s right, we obviously love a special here at Yard & Coop so this July we’ll be serving up buttermilk fried chicken in a waffle cone drizzled with our homemade sauces and topped with savoury delights… it’s out of cone-trol!

Garlic ranch and buttery buffalo garnished with spring onion and red chillies
Bee’s Knees, Dr Pepper BBQ and Blue Cheese sauces with crispy fried bacon bits
Our Chick In Cones will be keeping it cool alongside our menu and available anytime throughout July, perfect for a quick lunch or paired with a refreshing cold pint.

Everyone knows we love a special here at Yard & Coop. After our Easter specials of the hot cross bun burger and deep fried crème egg, we thought it would be hard to top. BUT we think we may have done it. This is a burger we’ve been working on for a while, and we think you’re going to love it.
We present to you the Bang Bang Katsu Burger.
Katsu curry was first invented in Japan in 1899, originally with Pork (Tonkatsu) and based on European cuisine with a Japanese twist. Its grown in popularity ever since, with several variations and is loved worldwide.
In fact, most Japanese curries use English curry powders, which explains why katsu sauce has a similar taste to English chip shop curry sauce, which works perfectly with our chicken.
The Bang Bang Katsu Burger combines everybody’s favourite Japanese curry with our buttermilk fried chicken. Obviously its Yard & Coop style, so there are a few twists.
Our burger consists of a brioche bun with a buttermilk fried chicken breast, bang bang cucumbers, pickled ginger, fried seaweed and katsu curry sauce. Its topped with our gunpowder chicken, served with fries and it’s absolutely delicious.
Our newest special is available from the 2nd May up until the 24th May, so you can indulge for nearly a whole month. Come and give it a go at your nearest Coop – its perfect washed down with a pint.
After Christmas, Easter is our second favourite holiday, and we always go all out at the Coop.

The Return of the Deep Fried Crème Egg
Yes that’s right, the deep fried crème egg returns from Wednesday 17th to Monday 22nd April. We obviously love deep frying things and a chocolate egg is no exception. Get your deep fried egg at any of our Coops this Easter as a perfect oozing fondant chocolate delight after your feast of chicken.
The deep fried crème egg is £3, and likely to sell out fast!

Hot Cross Burger
Our hottest new special, the hot cross bun burger is available all weekend for £14. It features a hot cross bun stuffed with two buttermilk fried chicken thighs, bacon, fried onions, adobo mayo and a fried egg. Oh and its garnished with a crème egg. It’s absolutely delicious, and pretty much the best special we’ve ever done.
This special is available from Wednesday 17th to Monday 22nd April.

Easter Egg Hunt
Every year we do our Easter egg hunt, where we hide chocolate eggs near the restaurant. They each have prizes in including free mains, drinks and sides. The hunt begins on Monday 15th April, where we’ll be giving out clues of the hiding places on Facebook. So get hunting!
Little Chicks Eat Free
Bring your chicks in over the Easter period, and we’ll feed em up good and proper when you get yourself a main meal. We’ll throw some lego in to keep them occupied.
We’ll also have free face painting for your little chicks AND a colouring competition running over Easter, so theres plenty for them to be getting on with whilst you kick back with your booze and chicken.
You’ve all heard of afternoon tea, but that’s not very Yard & Coop. Fried chicken afternoon tea on the other hand…
This Mother’s Day treat your mama to our twist on an afternoon tea. Introducing our tiered fried feast fit for a queen, served with buttermilk fried chicken breast, dirty bird style.
It’s the ultimate buttermilk fried chicken pile up, with the bottom tier consisting of a Dirty Bird for two: chips with cheese, chicken breasts, smothered in our Bee’s Knees, Dr Pepper BBQ and Blue Cheese sauces.
The middle tier has Amaizeballs, Gunpowder Chicken and a selection of all our homemade sauces, perfect for dipping!
The top tier will finish you off nicely with our homemade lush brownies and cupcakes.
Wash all this down with a gin serve from our BOOZE menu.
Our fried chicken afternoon tea is available on Sunday 31st March for £20.
We know that everyone is a little bit Irish when St Patrick’s day comes around, so we’ve created a tasty treat that everyone will love, Irish or not. We’re all about the booze and chicken and we’ve put these two together with a Paddy’s Day twist.
Introducing our Sticky Guinness Chicken
Our Paddy’s day sauce is made with Guinness and honey (and a few secret ingredients), and is a sticky and sweet treat, perfect to accompany our buttermilk fried chicken. We’ve lathered it over our succulent wings and drums, and garnished with orange and green peppers… because Ireland.
This amazing special is available from Wednesday 13th – Sunday 17th March.
It will be available FOR FREE on Wings Wednesday*, and we’ll be handing out tasters during our Friday Club**. Who knows, the sauce is so good it may become a permanent addition to our menu.

Here at the Coop we’ve been putting our heads together to come up with an amazing new menu for you lovely lot. It sees the introduction of some new gargantuan burgers including the new Massive Cock MK 4, some show-stopping mains with Asian influences and the return of some much missed classics (all hail the Yakety Wrap).
Not only that, but we’ve been creating some sexy sauces and side dishes to accompany the best buttermilk fried chicken around.

DOUBLE MAC DADDY This beast of a burger features a bun of chicken. Yep that’s right two buttermilk fried chicken breasts as the bun… We’ve then stuffed it with our three cheese mac and cheese, cheese sauce, crispy bacon and Dr Pepper BBQ sauce. Oh, and its garnished with some chicken crack. *Silently drools*
BAO BUN BOX Over on our large plates sections we’re introducing a Bao Bun Box. We’ve mixed things up and have gone for American, English and Asian influences as fillings for our mix of 3 Bao Buns. If you’ve never had a Bao Bun just think of them as steamed pillows of doughy heaven. Ours will be the sticky Bao, the buffalo Bao, and the roast Bao, each with very different but delicious flavours. Described as the hottest sauce in the Universe, this sauce is made with a blend of the hottest peppers on the planet, including Carolina Reaper, Bhut Jolokia, Trinidad Scorpion, Red 7-Pot and Chocolate Habanero. Safe to say its not for the feint hearted, and probably not for the wise, but we couldn’t resist slathering it all over our wings for that Valentines day treat.
